Kerry Anne Murphy
Director
Kerry Anne Murphy was born in 1976 and has 20 plus years of experience working within the sewing industry.
Starting her own clothing label at 18 years old selling through a clothes shop in Birmingham, following on from her first fashion show at North Warwickshire College of Technology and Arts where she studied and completed a BTEC in Fashion Design & Technology, moving onto study further at Nene University completing a HND in Fashion Design and Technology.
Taking time out to travel around Europe before moving to London’s east end settling in Old Street with a studio on Brick Lane in The Truman Brewery for a number of years amongst the Artisans. Kerry set up a pet bed business with the help of The Princes Trust in 2000. Murphy Pet Products, designing and making luxury pet beds, dog coats and collars selling through vets and to the public via advertising in relevant magazines targeting pet owners, she was ahead of her time!
Using her sewing skills Kerry has created numerous pieces over the years. From wedding parties to cushion covers, whatever she could create using her sewing machine she did! Sewing is her passion.
Due to her love of sewing Kerry was commissioned to make her first pair of curtains whilst in her studio in the hub of London’s east end. This trend kept with her, with more and more recommendations coming her way.

Since her sewing career began Kerry has gained a reputation for creating exceptionally high quality made products.
On her return to the UK from living in Australia in 2011 KAM Create was born.
